Vacancy: 3D Vehicle Modeler (GTA 5 RP)

What needs to be done

  • Create and customize vehicles: design unique body kits, custom tuning parts, and interiors from scratch, as well as modify existing car meshes
  • Perform optimization: optimize the geometry (polygon count) of finished models to ensure stable FPS for players, configure proper loading, and work with LODs without compromising quality
  • Fixing bugs: resolving vehicle collisions, incorrect materials, windows, headlights, and texture atlas conflicts
  • Use specialized software: proficiency in Blender, 3ds Max, Maya, and Substance Painter, as well as conversion tools (ZModeler 3, OpenIV)

Our requirements

  • Six months of experience in modeling and customizing cars for GTA 5 RP
  • A portfolio showcasing examples of your completed car models (screenshots, renders, or in-game footage)
  • Understanding the technical aspects: knowledge of Level of Detail (LOD) principles, proper UV unwrapping, texture baking, and transport collision setup
  • Discipline: the ability to work according to technical specifications (TS) and meet agreed-upon deadlines
